International Study Tours (optional)

Mentone Grammar provides students with the opportunity to engage in meaningful, curriculum‑aligned learning beyond the classroom.

These subject-based tours are designed to broaden global understanding, deepen subject knowledge, and foster independence, resilience, and intercultural awareness.

The information below outlines indicative international tour offerings. All tours are subject to school approval, student numbers, and global conditions.

All destinations and dates are subject to change and should be viewed as a guide only. Tours will proceed only once final approval is granted and all risk, safety, and operational requirements are met.

Expressions of Interest

Expressions of Interest will be released approximately 12 – 18 months prior to each tour. Families will be invited to attend an information evening before committing.

USA STEM Tour

  • Year Levels: 10 & 11
  • Learning Focus: Technology, robotics, engineering
  • Timing: Sunday 5 April – Sunday 19 April

Chinese Language Tour

  • Year Levels: 10 & 11
  • Learning Focus: To provide students with authentic language immersion and intercultural learning experiences that support their ongoing Chinese studies and VCE pathways.
  • Timing: Sunday 6 December – Tuesday 22 December
