BRASS/WOODWIND ENSEMBLES (Years 7 – 12)
Our brass and woodwind ensembles offer students from Years 7 – 12 exciting opportunities to explore diverse genres and performance styles while strengthening technique and ensemble confidence.
Together, these ensembles foster teamwork, musical growth, and a deeper appreciation of brass, flute and clarinet.
The Senior Brass Ensemble for students in Years 7 – 12 includes the Second Line Brass Band and the Fanfare Brigade offering the opportunity for Brass musicians to expand their knowledge of playing in different genres.
The Brass Ensemble regularly forms the Mentone Grammar Fanfare Brigade, playing original compositions to create an extra touch of class and celebratory tone to School events.
