REPORTS & STUDENT PERFORMANCE
Student learning from is measured using a combination of internal assessments, together with external assessments that are designed to enhance and validate internal assessments and build a more accurate profile of each learner.
The results from internal assessments and external assessments (ESPT and NAPLAN) are entered into our Student Performance System (SPS), a key resource used to track student progress and assist with the design of teaching and learning for each individual student.
SPS enables the School to monitor an individual’s progress over time, as well as identify areas of strength and areas of opportunity for improvement in our subject-based planning and delivery. SPS complements the semester-based academic reports for each student.
- Academic Reports at the end of each Semester (Terms 2 & 4) are provided for all students from ELC – Year 12.
- Progress information can be found for all students in Years 5 – 12 on SPS (note F – Year 4 will also be included on the SPS platform in the near future)
Families receive an academic report at the end of each Semester (Term 2 & Term 4)
- Reports can be found on Parent Lounge
- Access Parent Lounge via MyMentone App (e.g. red circle on image below)
- Once in Parent Lounge – access Academic Reports via left-hand navigation on the home page or Student Details tab on main navigation
NOTE: You may need to sign in to Parent Lounge again if you have not done so for a while.
Parents have direct access to the SPS Parent Dashboard, providing a detailed view of your child’s current learning profile. It includes full learning behaviour reporting, as well as academic progress and details regarding individual assessments.
We encourage parents to make use of this valuable resource to stimulate positive goal setting discussions with your children.
