YEAR LEVEL WHATSAPP GROUPS

We are very fortunate to have a group of dedicated Parent Reps who coordinate a number of Year Level WhatsApp groups.

These groups are designed to help parents stay connected and share school-related information. To keep things positive and useful for everyone, we have a set of group guidelines, outlined below.

IMPORTANT: Our WhatsApp groups are managed by volunteers so please be patient and respectful. They also DO NOT replace official School communication channels.

Purpose of the WhatsApp Groups
  • Share school updates and information.
  • Coordinate year level events and activities for parents.
  • Support communication between parents.
Invitation Process
  • Groups are named as per the graduating year e.g. the 2026 Year 5 WhatsApp group is known as the Class of 2033 – parents can remain as part of the same group as they progress through the School.
  • All parents/carers in the relevant year level will be sent an invite link to join the group.
  • YOU MUST NOT SHARE THE INVITE LINK OUTSIDE THE COHORT
Group Expectations
  • Be respectful and positive in all communication.
  • Don’t discuss individual children or teachers.
  • Protect everyone’s privacy: DO NOT SHARE photos or personal information.
  • Don’t send ads, chain messages or promotions.
  • Use private messages for 1-on-1 chat.
  • If you want anyone added – message the administrators.
Administrators
  • Group administrators may remind members of the guidelines, delete inappropriate messages, or remove anyone who misuses the group.
  • Users should immediately report suspicious activities or inappropriate use to the administrators.
