As per Children’s Services Regulations, parents must sign the Daily Attendance Book when dropping off and collecting children each day.
- ELC opens at 8.45am for a 9.00am start
If you have not already done so, please review the instructions for how to register for digital Sign In Sign Out (SISO).
All parents/carers and authorised nominees you have provided with authority to collect your child/ren will be set up within the Digital SISO app.
Families who require care earlier than 8.45am may use the ELC Morning Care which operates from 8.00am with supervision provided by ELC staff.
- Automatic security doors are located at the ELC entrance from Naples Road.
- The code is updated annually for safety and security.
- You will be provided with the code on commencement at the Centre. If you do not have the code, please email:
- Only share the code with individuals collecting your child; it is strictly for adult use.
- Do not share the code with parents whose children are not enrolled in the ELC, as the Centre should not serve as a passageway to the Junior School.
- Exit is via a button on the wall to the left of the automatic doors.
The main ELC playground is a waiting area only.
- Children are expected to wait quietly with their parents/carers until the ELC doors open and must remain within sight at all times.
- Parents/carers are responsible for supervising their children before they are signed into the ELC and once they have been collected.
- Parents/carers and ELC students must not wait in the Junior School Playground at any time.
To support families who are dropping off/collecting siblings from other campuses with different start/finish times, we have a number of designated waiting areas.
Click on the button below to find out more about ELC waiting areas and exit protocols.
All student absences, including late arrivals and early departures, should be logged via MyMentone app/Parent Lounge.
- MyMentone app home screen
- Absences tile (NOTE: you may be prompted to login to Parent Lounge).
- Complete the absence details and click +Submit New
- For students in ELC only, please also email your child’s teacher.
PLEASE DO NOT
- Leave a phone message with campuses
- Send an email to Campus PAs – they will not be able to log an absence on your behalf
Any extended absence from the School for non-illness reasons must first be approved by the Head of Campus, after which notification should be provided to the Mentor/Classroom teacher to support any missed work as required.
The School also strongly advises that families do not take students on extended holidays during term time.
